About five years ago, I sold a successful business and decided to start to re-tool for my next adventure. I focused on a long term goal of specializing in landscape design and sought out the knowledge I would need to best serve my clients.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Dakota and I am currently earning a graduate certificate in Landscape Design from Ryerson University in Toronto as well as working through the Permaculture program at Oregon State University.

Why Us?
Through the Ryerson program we have done many projects focused on urban and suburban properties. All of us have learned to look at the many aspects of urban and suburban life that you may not have to consider when designing for a rural property. What I have found is that I am seeing a more complete property snapshot while building rock structures with my sister company, Castle Rock Stonecraft. I can bring this vision to your property. My Other businessEast Coast Backyard Design is a small landscaping business in Waterbury, Vermont. Our goal is to take you away without the need to travel. We want you to feel the escape of traveling everytime you look out a window. Through the teaching of Frederick Law Olmsted, the great 19th century designer known as the father of landscape architecture, we can bring this escape to your backyard.
